Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition

The Gas Drilling Awerness Coalition, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to informing the citizens of Luzerne County about natural gas drilling. GDAC was formed by a small group of concerned citizens from all walks of life less than one year ago to address the impact that Marcellus Shale Gas Drilling will have on our communities and our way of life.

Our organization is effectively educating the public of the environmental dangeres and negative community impact associated with natural gas drilling.

The group has grownexponentially over just the first few months from a core group of 12 people to a membership of over 100 dedicated to effectively address the myriad of issues caused by gas drilling.
